Student of the Month

Congratulations to our first Students of the Month for the 2019-2020 season!  These dancers were chosen by their teachers for representing our Character Lives "Trait of the Month": KINDNESS!  These dancers have gone above and beyond to welcome and befriend new students at MDU, share encouraging words to their peers, and come into the classroom weekly with a smile on their face.  Check out the TV in the Lobby Communications Center featuring:

Miss Adalynn Rodenkirch

Miss Betty Mullenix

Mr. Michael Harding

Miss Jillian Reitzel

Other nominees include: Teagan Pientok, Samantha Shrugrue, and Nora Wise.  Keep up the great work!

Adult Tap

Our fall session of Adult Tap begins on Monday, October 14th!  We offer a 6-week class session for beginners (no experience needed) and for intermediate tappers, taught by our studio owner herself, Miss Misty Lown!

Click HERE to register today for an experience you won't want to miss.

Beginner Class -- Monday 6:30-7:00pm

Intermediate Class -- Monday 7:00-7:30pm

Teacher Development Week

Here at MDU, we strongly believe in continuing to train and develop our teachers in order to provide the best classroom experience for each dancer and family.  Miss Kylie, our Teacher and Student Service's Manager, will be visiting classes Thursday, October 17 - Wednesday, October 23 to observe each teacher in order to give them feedback, strategies, and new skills to apply to their weekly routines.  Be sure to say hello if you see her pop into one of your dancer's classes!

Parent Participation

We are SO excited for our first Parent Participation week of the 2019-2020 season!  Dancers may choose one guest to participate for their entire class, giving their guest an opportunity to experience what it is like to be a dancer at MDU.  This is a great opportunity to connect with your dancer, meet their teacher, and learn about what they have been working on in class over the past month.  We hope to see YOU in the classroom!
