Skills Testing is currently taking place in Graded Level Ballet, Tap & Jazz Classes through February 8th. Our annual Graded Level Conferences for students Level 1 and up in Ballet, Tap, and Jazz Technique will take place on February 10th.

This workshop is a great opportunity for your dancer to enhance their technique while immersing themselves in the world of concert dance’s musicality and artistry. MDU Theme Weeks are BACK to add some excitement to the long winter! First up is Crazy Hair Week: Monday, February 26th - Saturday, March 2nd. Dancers are encouraged to get creative with their hair for the week with a wacky style or added accessories. Please make sure that hair is pulled back away from the face so that your dancer can still fully participate in class.
Summer is already on our mind (and not just because of this awesome weather). We are hard at work finalizing our 2024 Summer Schedule and programming offerings. In the event of inclement weather, an email will be sent to affected classes and Facebook/Instagram posts will be made by 2:00 pm if afternoon/evening classes are canceled (by 8:00 am for morning classes).
Please note that we do not necessarily follow school closings. It is possible that roads may be cleared by the time studio classes begin or that conditions worsen later in the day when school is in session but afternoon/evening travel is not advised. Any canceled classes may be made up on your own time from our regular schedule of classes. In the event there is not a make up class available, a replacement option will be offered.
If your dancer will be absent from a class, our teachers and administrative staff greatly appreciate you notifying our team via our MDU Absence Form. This form can easily be accessed at the bottom of the main page of our website or CLICK HERE to access now.
Missing a dance shoe, water bottle, or perhaps a ballet skirt? Be sure to check out our Lost & Found. Simply ask the front desk for their assistance, and they will direct you to it. All items remaining in the Lost & Found on the 15th of each month will be donated.
