It's back! One of the most memorable weeks of the year is right around the corner. Parents, mark your calendars for Parent Participation Week: October 7-12. This is your chance to experience first-hand what your kids are working on in classes, get to know their teachers and see just how much fun and learning happens in every class!
If you're not able to attend, please feel free to invite another adult (grandma, grandpa, aunt, uncle or close family friend) to your child's class so the experience can be shared. Please help us by choosing just one parent/adult to share this special one-on-one time.
Our Studio Director, Miss Kylie, and other Senior Faculty Members will be visiting classes this month to observe teachers and classrooms in action! Classroom Check-Ins focus on curriculum, observing class progress and sharing ideas with instructors from inside the classroom.
Do you have a friend, neighbor or family member interested in trying dance? We are thrilled to invite them to join Miss Kristina for a special Discovery Day! This is a fantastic opportunity for little ones to sample different dance styles in a classroom setting, meet our wonderful instructors, and experience the joy of dance at MDU. View our Discover Dance Dates HERE!
A Discovery Participation Class Fee of $5 per student will apply to secure a spot in this fun event. This fee includes a $5 Gift Certificate to our in-house boutique, Willow & Grace, plus choice of a special participation gift (a water bottle or a tutu)! Space is limited! Sign up here.
Our next Adult Class session is Adult Fitness with Miss Amy. Kick off your week with a burst of energy including cardio, strength training and flexibility exercises.
When: Every Monday, 7:00 to 7:30 PM
Dates: October 14 through November 11
Duration: 5-week session
Tuition: $59

This family friendly event is FREE and open to the entire community! Help us spread the word!
Dancers are invited to wear their Halloween costume or a favorite past dance/recital costume to class Thursday, October 24th - Wednesday, October 30th! Please be sure costumes still allow for plenty of movement and have no bare midriff. No masks allowed.
Mark your calendar for Ballet La Crosse’s upcoming performances of Alice in Wonderland: October 26th & 27th at The Weber Center for the Performing Arts in La Crosse!
Tickets are available for purchase via The Weber Center Box Office.
NO CLASSES will be held on Thursday, October 31st so that students may enjoy trick-or-treating with their family and friends for Halloween.
The Christmas Social is a fun and informal fundraising show to close out the first semester of classes. This year’s performances will be held throughout the week of Monday, December 16th - Thursday, December 19th.
Participating classes were published in our 2024-2025 Programming Brochure. Classes are selected from each age group of our Children’s Programming. Participating classes will receive more details in November including the announcement of our NEW VENUE for this event! All proceeds benefit A Chance to Dance Foundation.

If your dancer will be absent from a class, our teachers and administrative staff greatly appreciate you notifying our team via our MDU Absence Form. This form can easily be accessed at the bottom of the main page of our website or CLICK HERE to access now.
If you are ever missing an item, be sure to check our Studio Lost & Found as it tends to fill up quickly! All items remaining in the Lost & Found on the 15th of each month will be donated.
PRO TIP: Be sure to label all of your dancer’s belongings with their name as everyone at the studio has the same or similar gear. Dancers should take all belongings into their classroom with them rather than leaving them unattended in the lobby or dressing areas.
