In-Class Dress Rehearsal week is also our last regular class week of the 2024-25 dance year!
If you haven’t done so already, be sure to check out our handy online Recital Hub to access all recital details and previously published communications in one place! Check it out here: mistysdance.com/recital

May 1st is “Thank a Dance Teacher Day” but at MDU, we are celebrating all week long! Check out our “Wall of Thanks” in the lobby over the next week to share a message of thanks to our FANTASTIC MDU Teachers!
This special day was created in 2014 by the National Dance Education Organization (NDEO) to spotlight the incredible impact of dance education and honor the teachers who inspire, uplift, and shape lives through the art of dance.
PARENTS: We would also love YOUR participation in celebrating our teachers and their dedication to your children all year long by giving MDU and our teachers a 5 STAR REVIEW! We know our teachers would appreciate your kind words!
Is your dancer interested in auditioning for Ballet La Crosse or one of our Performing Groups? Be sure to check out all of the details HERE and sign up to audition today!
Ballet La Crosse Auditions are May 2-3 and Performing Group Auditions will be held May 27-29, after our Spring Recital.

Class Registration for our 2025-26 dance year will begin online at 8am on Saturday, June 14th! Level placements and class schedules will be emailed out on Monday, June 9th.
If your dancer will be absent from a class, our teachers and administrative staff greatly appreciate you notifying our team via our MDU Absence Form. This form can easily be accessed at the bottom of the main page of our website or CLICK HERE to access now.
Missing a dance shoe, water bottle, or perhaps a ballet skirt? Be sure to check out our Lost & Found. Simply ask the front desk for their assistance, and they will direct you to it. All items remaining in the Lost & Found on the 15th of each month will be donated.
PRO TIP: Be sure to label all of your dancer’s belongings with their name as everyone at the studio has the same or similar gear. Dancers should take all belongings into their classroom with them rather than leaving them unattended in the lobby or dressing areas.
