Calling all DADS!

This year our Spring Recital theme is “Dancing Through the Decades” and our Daddy Daughter Dance will be making a stop in the Jukebox Era of the 50s & 60s! Join Miss Shayna for an upbeat routine to some timeless hits!

WHO: Dads (and other father figures such as grandpas, uncles and family friends) & Dancers in our Kidlets Level (Kindergarten) and up are eligible to participate in this optional performance opportunity.

WHAT: Learn choreography and perform a routine on stage during our Spring Recital: May 16-18, 2025

WHERE: Rehearsals to learn choreography are held at MDU. Perform on stage during our recitals at Viterbo University’s Fine Arts Center.

WHY: To share a fun experience with your dancer that will become a cherished memory for both of you!

Friday, May 2nd (Studio 2/3 at MDU)
ALL Participants: 5:30pm-7:00pm
*Senior Level Dancers may be asked to stay until 7:30pm

Saturday, May 3rd (Studio 2/3 at MDU)
Show 1: 11:00 am - 11:45 am
Show 2: 11:45 am - 12:30 pm
Show 3: 12:30 pm - 1:15 pm
Show 4: 2:00 pm - 2:45 pm
Show 5: 2:45 pm - 3:30 pm
Show 6: 3:30 pm - 4:15 pm

Saturday, May 10th (Studio 2/3 at MDU)

On-Stage Dress Rehearsal at Viterbo University’s Fine Arts Center
Shows 1, 2, 3: Wednesday, May 14 from 6:30-7:15 pm
Shows 4, 5, 6: Thursday, May 15 from 6:30-7:15 pm

Rehearsal Attire (for rehearsals at MDU):
Anything comfortable to move in!

Performance Attire (for On-Stage Dress Rehearsal and Show):

Daughters Wear:  

• Solid Black Short Sleeved T-shirt (wear a leotard underneath)
• Solid Black Leggings
• Pink Leather Ballet Shoes for dancers in Kindergarten - 3rd grade (our “littles” section)
• Tan Jazz Shoes for dancers in 4th grade and up (our “middles” and “seniors” sections).
• Hair in a bun
• Daughters will also be provided with a colored neck scarf accessory.

Dads Wear:  

• Solid Black Short Sleeved T-shirt
• Blue Jeans
• Sneakers

Participation Fee:
$89/family (includes choreography, rehearsal fees and a colored neck scarf for daughters to wear)

• “LITTLES” = Kindergarten - 3rd Grade
• “MIDDLES” = 4th - 7th Grade
• “SENIORS” = 8th - 12th Grade
