Opening Number Details

Dancers in Level 4 and up are invited to participate in this additional routine that will open ALL 6 SHOWS! Our “Let’s Go to the Movies” Opening Number will be a medley of songs from popular DANCE MOVIES and feature four style sections: ballet, tap, jazz and hip hop. 

Details:

• Ballet Section open to dancers in Ballet 4+
• Tap Section open to dancers in Tap 4+
• Jazz Section open to dancers in Jazz 4+
• Hip Hop Section open to dancers in Advanced Hip Hop or Jazz 4+ and co-enrolled in High Intermediate Hip Hop.
• Cost: $55/dancer
• Dancers may only sign up for 1 style section (ballet, tap, jazz or hip hop).
• Costuming plan and accessory fee (approx. $10-$25 depending on your style section) will be published on April 15.

Rehearsal Schedule:

Tuesday, April 7 from 7-8pm
Learn Choreography: Ballet with Miss Olivia and Hip Hop with Miss Hailey
* If unable to attend, dancers will need to learn choreography via video before their next rehearsal.

Friday, April 10 from 7-8pm
Learn Choreography: Tap with Miss Elisabeth and Jazz with Miss Lexi
* If unable to attend, dancers will need to learn choreography via video before their next rehearsal.

Saturday, May 2 from 9-10:30am
All Sections! Learn full group ending with Miss Kylie and rehearse all together
* MANDATORY

Friday, May 8 from 7-9pm
All Sections! Cleaning rehearsal with Miss Kylie
* MANDATORY

Tuesday, May 12 from 8-9:30pm
All Sections! On-Stage Dress Rehearsal at Viterbo
