Hip hop classes in the La Crosse area
Movement, music, and confidence
Hip hop gives dancers a way to explore rhythm, coordination, and expressive movement. At Misty’s Dance Unlimited, families from Onalaska and the La Crosse area can use the current class schedule to find hip hop options for their dancer’s age and experience. If your child likes moving to music but is unsure about taking a formal dance class, a trial is a chance to see how learning a routine feels.
Choose by age and experience
Begin with the age group in the class schedule, then ask our team about placement. A younger beginner and an experienced teen will need different challenges. Tell us whether your dancer has taken lessons before, what styles they have tried, and whether they are looking for a recreational experience or further training. Confirm the class location and availability when booking.
Getting ready for a first lesson
Check the current dress code before choosing shoes or clothing, and ask what is appropriate for a trial. Your dancer does not need to prepare a performance to ask about an introductory class. Let our team know if your child is nervous about joining a group so we can discuss the first visit with you.

Dancers who enjoy rhythm may also be interested in tap and jazz. Families looking specifically for our boys’ program can read about Guys Only. For seasonal options, browse summer dance classes and camps. Use each program’s current schedule to compare days, ages, and studio locations.
From Hippity Hop to graded classes
The 2026–2027 guide includes Hippity Hop, an introductory hip hop class for kindergarten and first grade. It also lists hip hop within the graded program, including high intermediate options. Check the age or level group in the guide and ask about placement for a returning dancer.
